Would you like to help us?

The O.B.S. operates entirely on the good will and effort of volunteers. Everybody is welcome, no matter the skills and time available. Tasks vary from helping with surveys in the field, entering data, writing reports, liaising with other organisations. Volunteering is a fabulous way to get involved in the community and to learn about the parish and its treasures. To volunteer some of your time, please contact the Society's Secretary here.

In addition, members of the public may become involved with the O.B.S. by becoming a member. Members are invited to vote for the Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and members of the Management Committee and may be candidate for any of these positions. Members receive advance notices of public events and have priority in events with limited numbers of participants. Membership rights cost £1 per annum. If you wish to become a member or need to renew your membership, please contact the Membership Secretary, Margaret Rainford, here.
